Avenue Q, the Tony-winning adult puppet musical about young people finding their way in the big city, bid farewell to Broadway’s Golden Theatre on September 13. The show played its final Broadway performance to a packed house filled with Q graduates and fans. After the stirring performance, everyone thought they would be headed to a pity party (with great grub) at Del Posto. But no! Q producers had a surprise up their sleeves: they announced the show would move to off-Broadway’s New World Stages. Suddenly, the farewell party turned into a raucous bash of joy and relief.
